Paolo Perna was born in Rome and studied at the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatory in that city, earning a diploma in Conducting, Composition and Opera singing.
In 1988-89 he worked in the Republic of South Africa, at the Cape Town and Durban operas, as assistant to the orchestral conductor. He teaches Composition and Choral conducting at the “Respighi” Conservatory in Latina.
He composed the music for the following films:
